After the usual business had been transacted,  the acting S.D W Bro Roy Hedges retired with the J.D, Frank Umbers to attend on the candidate.

After being admitted in due form, the W.M entrusted James with signs and requested he retire under the guidance of the S.D Roy Hedges, who, by this time was showing his excellent ritual skills, as you would expect from a former member of the Provincial DC’s team

On being readmitted, the ceremony continued with Tony Pryor completing the ceremony in an excellent manner. A poignant moment came when James submitted his work to his son, Stuart, the Senior Overseer for inspection.

Also, in attendance to watch on, was W Bro Mark Barton the PGM’s Deputy Special Representative.

The lodge was closed at 7.50 pm and W.Bro Roy Hedges then assembled the Brethren for the necessary photos.
